Meet Our Staff

Nick Lavy - Administrator
I was born in Greenville, Ohio in 1978 and was blessed to grow up in a Christian home. I attended a Christian school from Kindergarten through 12th grade and our family were very regular attendants at the church attached to the school. We attended Wednesdays and twice on Sundays. The problem with all of that, sadly, is that Christianity became more about works than about a personal relationship with Jesus. At the age of 3 I professed to have accepted Jesus as my Savior, and got baptized a few years later. After college, in 2000 I moved to Wyoming where I met my now best friend and wife, Elly. We have 5 wonderful children!
It wasn’t until the age of 30 that I truly accepted Christ as my personal Savior and realized what it meant to have a relationship with Him. Because I then allowed myself to hear God speak into my life and give His direction, we felt strongly led to Viroqua Wisconsin where we have seen God work in so many ways! Becoming a family pastor at Lighthouse Baptist Church is one more example of God’s work in me.
Mr. Lavy has a great heart for children and has a connection with our students that helps to lead our school in the right direction, which is to glorify God and raise up children who love the Lord.
